How do we book NJPrompter for an out-of-state live event or tour?

Booking us for nationwide travel is easy by using our Contact Page form or emailing us at Info@NJPrompter.com. The client is responsible for coordinating and covering airfare, baggage fees (if any), ground transportation, and hotel accommodations. Once travel is secured, we handle the rest—arriving on time, gear ready, and completely ready to roll on your set.

What equipment do you provide when traveling nationwide?

When flying out for national events, we bring our dual scrolling computer backup system equipped with all the hardware needed to connect to any configuration and switch at a moment's notice. This means two independent prompter computers run your script simultaneously in real time. If an external signal interruption occurs on a live stage, we can instantly toggle to the backup system with zero script downtime. Teleprompter monitors and heavy stage gear are usually supplied by the event company on location, but if a particular piece of specialized gear is required, we can easily arrange for its travel and transport for an additional fee.

Are you available for international live events and world tours?

Yes, absolutely. Both Bret and Colleen hold valid U.S. passports and are fully cleared for international travel. Whether your production is heading to Europe, the Americas, Asia, or embarking on a multi-continent world tour, we can seamlessly deploy out of the country.

International logistics follow our standard travel guidelines: the hiring production company is responsible for securing all necessary international airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transport, and handling any required equipment, customs documentation, or local work visas for our crew. We take care of the rest, bringing our travel-optimized technical core to ensure your talent experiences flawless, zero-downtime prompting on the world stage.​

Do you provide the physical monitors and glass when traveling nationwide?

No, the heavy infrastructure on location—such as arena downstage floor monitors (DSMs), cabling, and presidential podium glass—is supplied and built by the event's AV company. However, if there is a specific piece of specialized gear needed (such as a Steadicam prompter), we can arrange to travel with it for an additional fee.

Our role is strictly focused on flawless technical execution. We bring our travel-ready dual-computer core directly to your set and connect seamlessly into the local production team's infrastructure. We coordinate closely with the on-site technical director to manage the stage layout (if needed), signal configuration, and scripting—providing an absolute safety net for the speaker.
