NJPrompter is owned and operated by Bret and Colleen Curran, a premier husband-and-wife technical team bringing over
two decades of elite production experience to live events and commercial sets. We bring broadcast-precision hardware and seamless execution to every set, ensuring absolute reliability from local studios to nationwide live events.
We deliver tailored solutions for two distinct production needs:

Tri-State and Regional Operations (NJ/NYC/PA/CT/DE): We are the trusted, go-to prompting partner for local production companies and corporate media teams across the region. For out-of-state clients traveling into our market, partnering with us locally completely eliminates the steep travel overhead and heavy gear-shipping costs of bringing in an outside crew.

National Fly-Out Operators: We travel nationwide for high-profile productions and live events. Flying light and fast, we bring our own custom dual-computer redundancy setups to manage script edits and scrolling, delivering bulletproof fail-safe control to any arena or corporate event in the country.

About Bret...
Bret's origins in media began as a producer for a small independent production company in NYC.
As with most indie companies, he was a man of many talents with hands on experience with every facet of media production.
After 10 years of producing commercials, PSA’s, corporate and educational videos, Bret decided he wanted to try a new direction, teleprompting, and soon realized that he had quite a knack for it. From there, NJPrompter was born, which leads us to the present, where he enjoys going to a shoot just as much as he did 25 years ago starting out.

Colleen Curran
About Colleen...
Colleen is the other half of NJ Prompter and the travel maven for our nationwide large scale events. Prior to her career in teleprompting, she spent 13 years in the corporate field, which gave her an added edge to teleprompting as she is very familiar with the extreme time restraints and special attention required by CEO's and other high ranking officials and is often requested by Fortune 500 executives to travel nationwide with them for important events.
Since she specializes in large scale live events where the stakes are high, she's a team player and often assists with production planning, talent presentation and script edits.
